Hi, I am Laura.

So glad you're here :) A little about me: 

I am an occupational therapist and have worked in the hospital setting since 2013. While working in pediatrics, I developed a strong appreciation for working with children and their families. As you can see from my portfolio, I love capturing all stages of childhood, not just big milestones. Portraits are a great way to commemorate your family and their growth -it does not need to be a special occasion to book a session. 

As an OT, I have experience with children of all ages, including premature infants. I've worked in the NICU and have been trained in safe handling and positioning for the most premature and medically fragile infants. I apply these skills to photography sessions, so when doing newborn or infant photos your baby's safety and proper positioning is the highest priority. 

My interest in photography intensified after I had children of my own. Time goes so fast and I found myself wanting to document their lives along the way. Looking at photos of my children from the past always brings back beautiful memories and I love to document these moments for other families, as well. And if you have a furry family member that you want to participate, even better :)

I am located just south of Madison in Oregon, Wisconsin. Portrait sessions can be arranged in the Madison, Wisconsin area.
